Brooke M. Lampley is Global Chairman & Head of Global Fine Art at Sotheby’s. She is responsible for overseeing the global fine art team across auction, private, and online sales for Contemporary, Modern, Old Masters, Chinese, American, Latin American, Modern British, Photographs, 20th Century Design, Art & Objects, and Prints. In addition to directing strategy and management, she works with the world's leading collectors and collections as an authority in modern masterpieces. Her leadership has driven landmark results, including a record year for Sotheby’s in 2021.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s in 2018, Brooke led the Impressionist and Modern Art team at Christie’s and worked at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., the Hirshhorn, and the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard. She holds a Master of Arts degree in History of Art from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and History of Art from Harvard College.
